Can I Reuse Magnetic Lashes?
Can I reuse magnetic lashes?
Every woman loves the idea of having long, full, lushes lashes. I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone say “I just hate how long and curled my lashes are!” We all want to feel put together and look our best. Lash extensions are so expensive and require a lot of maintenance. Traditional false lashes are hard to apply and you don’t have much room for error. There is a learning curve when it comes to applying magnetic lashes but once you get the hang of it, you’ll never go back!
Quality matters
Depending on which lashes you choose will shape how much you love magnetic lashes. It’s worth buying expensive lashes because cheaper ones don’t hold their shape when you cut them for the application process. Each piece you cut goes straight and it looks super funny to have three straight sections of lash on your eye. It’s also more itchy and bothersome this way. You’ll get way more use out of a more expensive pair ( 25$ vs 8$ ) because you’ll actually want to wear them.
Silly George Magnetic lashes last longer than off brands
I have used some from amazon and some from Silly George. The Silly George dailies are my favorite. They hold their shape well after being cut and the aren’t too dramatic. The ones from amazon were OK. They were 29$ for 8 pair and I could only actually wear about 4 of them. And they weren’t as comfortable as the Silly George pair.
Once magnetic lashes made their debut I was excited to try them, to say the least. No glue and pretty lashes? Sign me up! I’ve heard horror story after horror story of women trying to apply magnetic lashes. Trying to get the two strips of magnets to line up seems nearly impossible! That’s because that is the hardest way to apply them. Click here to learn the secret to applying them with ease.
Magnetic lashes last longer than glue on lashes
I find they have a longer life than regular false lashes because they don’t get all gummed up with glue and are just overall easier to apply. If you follow this process once a week ( or after every 4-5 uses) You will get the best life span out of your lashes. You’ll know they need to be cleaned when the magnets don’t work as well and the lashes are full of excess mascara.
Magnetic lashes are cleaner than traditional lashes
Magnetic lashes are already cleaner than traditional false lashes because there isn’t any glue. When traditional lashes are applied with glue it traps in moister and can cause excessive growth of fungus and bacteria leading to infection.
Magnetic lashes are great for people with sensitive skin
Glue on lashes can also make you more prone to developing an allergic reaction to the glue with prolonged use. Every time I have used traditional false lashes I have always had a really hard time gluing something on and then using having to use a solvent to remove them. I had a horror story where I used way too much glue and could not get them off. Lots of panic, tears, and runs to the store later, I finally got them off. I vowed I’d never use false lashes again. Magnetic lashes seem to be a better alternative no matter which way you look at them!
Can I reuse magnetic lashes?
Absolutely! Magnetic lashes can be reused over and over with proper care. If you get in the habit of cleaning them you’ll be able to use them for a long time. Because of that, it’s very affordable to invest in a good pair of lashes. The cheaper ones I’ve tried are made out of a plastic wire while the more expensive ones are made out of a more wearable material that holds its shape.
They hold their shape better and aren’t as itchy. The pack I got from amazon aren’t horrible, it was 29$ for a pack of 8. I can use some of them, I have big round eyes so some of them were too short. Also, most of the more expensive ones are made out of humane hair. So the lashes look and hold up well.
