Can I Sleep In Magnetic Lashes?
Magnetic lashes
Every woman loves the idea of having long, full, lushes lashes. I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone say, “I just hate how long and curled my lashes are!” We all want to feel put together and look our best. Lash extensions are so expensive and require a lot of maintenance. Traditional false lashes are hard to apply and you don’t have much room for error. Messing up and reapplying them over and over ruins your make up and is so annoying. There is a learning curve when it comes to applying magnetic lashes but once you get the hang of it, you’ll never go back! Having them as an option for special occasions or daily use is very convenient.
Depending on which lashes you choose will shape how much you love magnetic lashes. It’s worth buying expensive lashes because cheaper ones don’t hold their shape when you cut them for the application process. Each piece you cut goes straight and it looks super funny to have three straight sections of lash on your eye. It’s also more itchy and bothersome this way. You’ll get way more use out of a more expensive pair ( 25$ vs 8$ ) because you’ll actually want to wear them. I have used some from amazon and some from Silly George. The Silly George dailies are my favorite. They hold their shape well after being cut and the arent too dramatic. The ones from amazon were OK. They were 29$ for 8 pair and I could only actually wear about 4 of them. And they weren’t as comfortable as the Silly George pair. If you’re looking for something more dramatic I’d recommend Lil Lash “long”. I haven’t personally used them but I know someone who does and they are super pretty. They are also made out of human hair so they are super natural looking.
Can I sleep in magnetic lashes?
The answer is you probably shouldn’t sleep in magnetic lashes. By the end of the day, you’ll be ready to rip them off just like traditional false lashes anyway. But if you happen to fall asleep in them once or twice, its definitely not the end of the world. If you do fall asleep in them you risk loosing one if they fall off, they’re spending more time on your face to harbor bacteria, and they probably wont be very comfortable. According to Moxie Lash’s website ( a magnetic lash company) they tell their customers not to sleep in them because they can damage the lashes.
It’s always good to get in the habit of washing them regularly, take them off daily, and store them in their protective case. Make sure when you put them in the case they’re in a “C” position and not straight. This will ensure their natural curve and continue to look great on your eye. If you leave them straight in the magnetic case, they will straighten over time and will be harder to apply.
