Can I Wear Mascara With Magnetic Lashes?
I have always wanted to be able to wear false lashes but could never get the hang of applying them with glue. I would either apply too much or too little glue. Messing up multiple times and in the process my make up is ruined! One time I was so determined for them to stay I found the most permanent looking glue I could find at the store and low and behold, I finally got them on and they stayed! I was so happy until it was time to take them off and found that I had applied way too much glue. So much glue that I cried and panicked because these things had made a permanent residence on my face. They were never coming off! Multiple freak outs and runs to the store for solvent, they finally came off. And I was never EVER doing that to myself again.
Can I use mascara with magnetic lashes?
If you want your lashes to stay in place, applying mascara before application is a must. Applying mascara before applying your lashes gives the magnets something secure to hold onto. If you don’t apply mascara it leaves a slippery unsecure surface that the lashes can easily slip off of. Not applying mascara also can leave an unsightly halo or “gap” between the lashes and your natural lash line. Mascara conceals this and makes it less noticeable.
Can I apply mascara after I applied magnetic lashes?
If you’re looking to add a more dramatic look and want to add mascara to your magnetic lashes, I wouldn’t reccommend it. Your magnetic lashes will naturally start to accumulate mascara from the mascara on your lashes. Washing your lashes once a week can keep them in good shape and available for multiple uses. If you are directly applying mascara to the lashes themselves it’s going to break them down quicker. If you want to add drama to your look, you can always add a second top lash to add that extra pop.

Why I love Silly George over other brands
Silly George holds their shape when you cut the lashes during the application process.
You get what you pay for when it comes to magnetic lashes. If you buy cheap ones, they don’t hold their shape when you cut them for the application process. One pair of lashes should last you a minimum of 25 uses if you care for them properly. I love their cute packaging that keeps the lashes safe to ensure maximal wear.
